Psychological Evaluations
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD or AD/HD or ADD)
Many children and adults exhibit hyperactivity, impulsivity, and deficits in attention and concentration, but many other disorders can present themselves like ADHD (e.g., PTSD, anxiety, etc.). A thorough evaluation can assist in making an accurate diagnosis of ADHD and is vital in creating an effective treatment plan for reducing these problems.
Disability Evaluations
Disability evaluations to assist individuals, attorneys and other parties to determine the extent of work limitations and eligibility for Social Security Disability or workman’s compensation benefits. These evaluations are conducted to assess such factors as extent of malingering, emotional or psychological difficulty, cognitive limitation, memory impairment or learning difficulty.

Fitness-For-Duty Evaluations
Evaluations to assist employers in making the determination whether someone is considered able to perform the essential duties of their jobs in a safe, secure, productive, and effective manner, without presenting a safety hazard to themselves, other employees, the company (or other workplace), or the public. Fitness for Duty Evaluations are typically performed when observations of conduct, reactions, job performance, work habits, physical symptoms, or appearance of the employee are deemed concerning and warrant a formal evaluative process.
Pre-Surgical Evaluations (e.g., Bariatric or Cosmetic)
Bariatric Assesments may be conducted at the request of a physician or insurance company. These are requested for bariatric and cosmetic surgeries and others that may present certain psychological and emotional risks to the patient. In addition to including a Clinical Interview with standardized testing designed to determine the presence of psychological difficulties (e.g., depression and anxiety), the evaluation will assist in determining if there are additional problems that could adversely impact the surgical outcome and recovery (such as poor health behaviors or problems with medical compliance).
Personality Assessments
Personality Assessment Evaluations are conducted to assess for psychological dysfunction (e.g., depression, anxiety, or thought disorder) and to assess aspects of normal personality functioning (e.g., self-esteem, interpersonal skill, and temperament). These assessments can be used in determining the exact nature of one’s psychological, emotional, and behavioral difficulties or as an aide to treatment planning. These assessments involve a structured clinical interview combined with projective and objective personality inventories.
School Evaluations (psychoeducational)
Psycho-Educational Evaluations are conducted to assess the learner’s cognitive and academic skill and ability, to assess for specific problems (such as a reading, mathematics, or writing disability) or other learning disorders, or to assist parents and schools to develop appropriate educational expectations and plans. These psycho-educational evaluations are also offered to adults who are continuing their education.
