I completed a Doctor of Psychology Degree (Psy.D.) in 2002 from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and then continued my training around the country.
I have helped hundreds of people like you who are looking for solutions for troubling aspects of their lives.
Prior to going into private practice, I worked in a variety of mental health settings in several states all over this country, to include: a long-term in-patient treatment facility for developmentally disabled adults suffering from schizophrenia (Wyoming), the inner-city schools (Elementary, Middle, and High Schools) of the Baltimore City Public School System (Maryland), two state psychiatric hospitals (Kentucky and North Carolina) as well as a stint as the Director of Mental Health for a men’s medium security prison in Florida.
These experiences have allowed me to assist a broad array of people in coping with a wide variety of issues.
Currently, I am one of only two psychologists in the entire county selected and cleared to work with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office Employee Assistance Program, where I provide psychological assistance for critical incident stress processing, psychoeducational information, and psychotherapy services.
I provide psychotherapy services to adults and comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments to both adults and children in the general population.
I am also an Adjunct Professor for Nova Southeastern University’s Farquar College of Arts and Sciences, where I teach a number of courses in psychology.
